i have my ups and downs with full tones. there are just too many tones to learn if you are looking for everything. in trashy parks its like listening to Morse Code so i usually only listen for the high tones and even then i get tone overload after a while and can't distinguish anything. then i have a program set up for parks with 5 "bins" like i had with the CTX3030 and set tones accordingly. What i feel is the downside to the park program is that the area between "bins" you hear a double tone as it sounds off the tone of both bins which isn't a clean tone. So....... ha ha .... now that i've made this as clear as mud.... good luck... :confused:
so now i am thinking of trying 3 tones: one for the zero to whatever i have discrimination set at, one from there to 80 and one from 80 up. turn the iron volume down so basically it would be a two tone machine. but then you are looking at VID's all the time to see what's under the coil. hmmm...
