Well folks should try the following to compare full tones and 0 disc versus using say multiple tones and disc of say levels between 6-8.
Get yourself a roll of tape 2" wide and two 12 penny nails.
Take the Deus and go to disc 6 using say 2 or 3 tone. Use Deus fast program
Drop the dime down in the middle of the tape roll, then place the nails on the top edge of tape roll-- a coin below nails test.
As you face the tape roll for sweeping, position one nail on each side of above and beside dime pointing in the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock directions.
After positioning nails sweep with Deus. If signal on dime is obtained, mover nails closer together. Keep doing this until you get no hint or barely a signal using disc 6 and say 2 or 3 tone.
Leaving test undisturbed for last position, take Deus in Deus facst full tones O disc. Sweep the target. I think you'll find the dime is easier to hear and actually can be obtained with a closer nail positioning beside and over the dime. And see if you notice a small sweep speed advantage comparing the 2.
Also when using disc and 2 or 3 tone. What an op will hear with the dime is more of a iron rejection or nail false with horseshoe switching sides on sweeps--- in full tones 0 disc you won't hear this.
