No detector is capable of effectively "notching out" tabs (regardless of the type) without running the risk of losing some desirable jewelry as well. To attempt that in the setting you are describing is self defeating with the Deus as it loves to sound good on alluminum. I have gold rings which sound wonderful in 18kz from 37 to 70. The best suggestion is to dig em all or dig the ones that sound crisp & clear and somewhat different. Irregular shapes produce a somewhat fuzzy sound...avoid those. It's not an FBS afterall.

This goes for Every Machine out there. It's just that simple. You need to be sight specific for dig or not to dig.
