You could turn iron volume down to 1 so you would still hear it but it wouldn't be too loud. Keep reactivity down to 1 if you can but if its very busy you can start increasing reactivity.

Ground notch helps with falling when the coil bumps stalks, sticks and rocks when I'm hunting in the woods and fields. I usually run it down to about 80 or so.
