Squirrel, it will go deeper than that, don't know how deep on a coffee can of coins but on a horse shoe I dug about 19" before I could see it. So it was a little deeper than that

I guess when I get it just start burying things at different depths and figure it out. I am thinking in pretty good conditions on a large object it should go down about 19 to 30 inches. Hoping anyway.

It would open the Deus up to surf and gold field hunting. With its lightweight and programmability, it would make it a backpacking machine with a purpose. Just dreaming.

Wish the deus had just a little..

better protective cover for the Remote Control that you could see threw.. I got one free with mine but after 3 months you cant see threw it anymore but i keep using it for now.

I couldn't see real good through my rubber housing either, so I cut the screen hole out of the rubber and put a screen protector on the control unit under the rubber to take care of the screen. HH-Mark
